Sommer Chere' Burnette

Sommer Chere' Burnette, 36, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed from this life Monday, May 14, 2018. Sommer was born November 24, 1981, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and was the daughter of Melanie Henderson Burnette and the late Charles Vernon Burnette. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, and sister that we will never be able to replace. Sommer loved going to see her children in their school activities. She was such a good friend to many, and loved to be around people. Sommer always looked forward to the holidays and good food. In addition to her mother, Melanie, her immediate family includes three chidren, Addison Makenzie Burnette, Madison Makayla Dias, and Steven Alexander Makhai Burnette; two sisters, Shannon Stanley and her husband, Mark, and Amanda Huffman and companion Dwayne Pripusich; and nieces and nephews. My angel, Sommer, you will be in our minds and hearts forever. We are so grateful you are in God's Hands...no more pain, struggle, or heartache. We can't wait to see you again. -
