Stephen Townsend Halliday, 77 of Mint Hill, NC. Died Tuesday, June 5, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11am at St. Matthews Catholic Church 8015 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy. Charlotte, NC. 28277. A reception will follow after the Mass in the church hall. Mr. Halliday was a former communicant of Saint John Neumann Catholic Church. Mr. Halliday is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Claire Halliday, and his loving daughters Ms. Claire Halliday and Mrs. Marion Brandl and husband William. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Megan Brandl, Matthew Brandl and wife Elizabeth along with many nieces and nephews and loving relatives.
