Susan Lanier Fries

Susan Lanier Fries, 53, of Weddington, but formerly of Charlotte, was called home to be with her Lord September 11, 2011. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Darrell ,of the home in Weddington; son, Jason Cooper, of Matthews; daughter, Morgan, of the home in Weddington ; and granddaughter, Madison Cooper. Other family members include her father, Ray Lanier, of Charlotte; her brother, Rev. Danny Lanier, of Charlotte; and her sisters, Sheryl Lanier, of Charlotte, Shelia Thornton, of Huntersville, Vicki Ballard, of Indian Trail, and Janine Yvars, of Concord. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that memorial contributions in Susan's name be made to Queen City Apostolic Church.
