Susan McCarter

Susan McCarter died unexpectedly but peacefully on Saturday July 16, 2022. 

 

Susan was born on July 23rd, 1961 in Kingsburg, California but moved to Charlotte, NC as a child.  She is a 1980 graduate of East Mecklenburg High School and later from University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelors in Psychology.  Susan worked processing mortgages for various banks but later found a new home with Windstream Telecommunications.  

 

She leaves behind her parents, Robert & Ruth McCarter; sister, Janet; brother, Chad; brother-in-law, Eddie Languidey; and her niece, Katy Languidey. Susan never met a stranger and is also leaving behind a wonderful support group of long time friends and work family.

 

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday July 19th at Carmel Baptist Church, 1145 Pineville-Matthews Rd, Matthews, NC 28105.  Friends are welcome to stay and visit after the Celebration of her Life.

 

Her faith in Christ has placed her in a completely healed body and she will be hugely missed but greatly remembered.
