Vivian Georgia Baird

Vivian Georgia Baird, 97, of Bath, South Carolina, passed away at home Sunday evening, July 21, 2013. She lived in Columbia, SC for most of her adult life working as a hotel switchboard operator at the Jefferson Hotel. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Walker "JW" Baird; siblings, Helen and Aiken Teague, Jimmy and Rose Dent, Mary Sue and Frank Brown; niece, Caroline Brown, and son, Thomas "Tommy" Edgar Baird, Sr. Born in Newberry, SC she was the daughter of John Franklin Dent and Minnie Lee Rushton. Surviving are children, Patricia Ann and Robert Hagstrom of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Rebecca Jean and Roy Johns of Bath, SC, daughter-in-law, Virginia D. Baird of Florence, SC; grandchildren Susan P. Hagstrom, Kenneth R. and Diana Hagstrom, Thomas E. and Kathrine "Kacy" Baird Jr., Windy B. and John E. Fullagar, III, Joseph W. Johns, and Sarah M. Johns; great-grandchildren Kevin B. Hagstrom and Aaron R. Hagstrom, John E "Jack" Fullagar, IV and Wilson B. Fullagar, McKenna G. Baird and Avery C. Baird; niece, Bonnie Blackberg, and grand-nephews Michael Brown and Frank (Joey) Chandler.
