William Armitage

William Armitage, 90 of Stallings NC passed away on August 23, 2020.  William was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1930 then immigrated to Toronro, Canada in 1957.  He worked as an iron worker which included building many of the skyscrapers throughout the United States including New York, Houston and Los Angeles. William later retired in Naples, FL where he enjoyed golfing and having a beer at the pub with his pals. He has spent the last 5 years in Matthews, NC with granddaughter Heather.
William is survived by his two brothers, Lex and Andrew of Scotland, his only daughter, Angela, his three grandchildren along with many great grandchildren.
